Nowon-gu, Seoul (Mayor Oh Seung-rok) announced on the 19th that the 2024 Seoul Children's Marathon (365 Child Run) will be held at Nowon Madle Stadium on October 3rd.

It is hosted by the Seoul Children's Marathon Organizing Committee and sponsored by Seoul Metropolitan Government, Seoul Metropolitan Council, Seoul Sports Council, Nowon-gu, and Nowon-gu Council.

This competition, targeting elementary school students living in Seoul, is organized as a 3.65km course with the theme of 'Creating a Republic of Korea where children are happy 365 days a year'.

Starting from Nowon Madle Stadium, the course will run along the nearby Jungnangcheon Stream and then return. Groups will be separated by age group and start sequentially, and water stations, ambulances, and safety personnel will be stationed along the course

A commemorative medal will be awarded to all children who complete the race, not just the winner.

After the awards ceremony, a lunch box sharing meal will be 스포츠 held, and in the afternoon, a 'Fall Cheerful Sports Day' will be held with families.

Up to 3,000 people can pre-register for the marathon on a first-come, first-served basis through the competition website (www.seoulintlchildrun.co.kr). There is no entry fee.

Mayor Oh Seung-rok said, “I sincerely welcome the hosting of this competition to create an environment where children can be healthy and happy 365 days a year,” and added, “We will create a Nowon where children can have fun running around anytime, even after they become teenagers and adults.”
